Sites not responding - 2008/08/15 16:28 About 1/2 hour ago, all of our stores stopped responding in IE and were hanging on the live.monitus.net Javascript. I had to pull the Monitus code off to get the sites to load properly both on the main site and the shopping cart. Please advise.

Re:Sites not responding - 2008/08/15 17:39 We had 4 out of our 5 yahoo stores go down too. I had to remove the monitus tracking code from the site and re-publish and it is working now. The weird thing is that the page would load in FF but not in IE. Apparently in IE, it was calling the monitus java script file and it was unable to locate a mjd.php file -- so that was causing it to error out.

This is what i did to fix it in the meantime:

I removed the monitus code from the Variables section in the editor and then from the Checkout Wrapper (in Checkout Manager > Global Settings) and Order Confirmation (in Checkout Manager > Page Configuration).

(again, this is how we had monitus tracking tools set up on our yahoo stores -- yours might be a little different but i'm guessing it should be pretty similar.)

Re:Sites not responding - 2008/08/15 17:42 It's a two part process (store front and checkout), so you'll have to publish your store front from the editor after you remove the code from the Variables; and then you have to publish your order settings after you make the changes in checkout manager.
