Re:Installation - 2007/05/29 17:59 Good day Debra!

Thanks for signing up! Welcome aboard!

So first, about the Firefox extension: the simplest way to install the extension, is to log in your monitus.net account with Firefox, click on "Firefox Extension for Yahoo!" and then click the big "Monitus.net Extension for Firefox" link. This should install the extension in your browser. Is that what you did? Once you've done that, if all went well, you should see a little blue "M" icon in the bottom-right corner of any Firefox window.

As for the "inactive" message in your account, it only relates to your product categories - not the whole account. With our tools, you can assign categories to your products so that they are sent to Google Analytics and seen in reports. If you need more help with the installation on your store, or more details on the cateogries, please contact my partner Michael Whitaker at info at monitus dot com

Hope this helps - and if not, please do not hesitate to post again!

Thanks!

Jean.

Re:Installation - 2007/05/30 16:42 Good morning Debra!

You're definitely not stupid - maybe we need to revise our interface to make it more intuitive - or make the docs a bit more easier to access... In any case, you can always find some help here: http://www.monitus.net/content/blogcategory/46/125/ -- and of course on this forum...

So, the gear icon will only light-up when you are on your store pages (http://favorsgiftsgalore.com) - it will allow you to go to the store manager or the editor, etc... As for the "M", it will activate (become blue) when you are in the store editor. the idea is to make these two things available only when there's actually something they can do...

Hope this helps - if not, or if not enough, just drop a new note and we'll take it form there!

Thanks!

Jean.

Re:Installation - 2007/06/03 19:58 Yeah - I know... If we could, we would have made an IE extension too... Maybe laterm, when you're all familiar with Firefox, so we can keep you rminds sharp...

Thanks!

Jean.

Re:Installation - 2007/11/05 17:38 Hi,

I can get the tool installed, and log in, and it accepts my CSV upload, but beyond that I have no joy. The "Settings" option for logging in to Google Analytics is greyed out, and no sales information is displayed. I'm just a freeloader at present; I haven't signed up for a 30-day free trial yet, though I have created a login at Monitus.

What am I doing wrong?

Re:Installation - 2007/11/05 18:07 Hello again!

Did you set-up your Google Analytics credentials in the settings? Please have a look at our installation instructions for details - but basically, you need to set-up your Google Analytics credentials by selecting "Settings" in the little "Cog" menu, in the upper-right corner...

Thanks!

Jean.

Re:Installation - 2007/11/05 18:24 Dear Jean,

I'd love to but I can't - the settings option is greyed out!
