Thanks for signing up! Welcome aboard!
So first, about the Firefox extension: the simplest way to install the extension, is to log in your monitus.net account with Firefox, click on "Firefox Extension for Yahoo!" and then click the big "Monitus.net Extension for Firefox" link. This should install the extension in your browser. Is that what you did? Once you've done that, if all went well, you should see a little blue "M" icon in the bottom-right corner of any Firefox window.
As for the "inactive" message in your account, it only relates to your product categories - not the whole account. With our tools, you can assign categories to your products so that they are sent to Google Analytics and seen in reports.
